Jesus was given the name "Immanuel" even before he was born. Immanuel means "God with us". He is present, both then and now.

 

The Lord has blessed some of us with so many deep and beautiful encounters with Jesus that we the need to share them with people. That's why we've launched this  part of the website... so you can hear for yourself some of the amazing things the Lord Jesus is doing in people's lives today.

We are not trying to imitate the latest and greatest church, the latest and greatest website, or the latest and greatest story-telling. Our goal is simple.... to share the true stories about Jesus in a personal way that we know will engage the hearts and minds of our community. We work hard to remain faithful to the bible, to the written teachings of Jesus, and to the heart of God as our loving Father. All things are filtered through these three lenses.

On the one hand, we are telling true unembellished stories. That's simple enough.

On the other hand, we take this a step further. We always want to sure that our interpretations are grasped by shining the spotlight of Scripture down upon our spiritual and very personal experiences. This is our responsibility, not merely as "story-tellers", but as truth-sharers who help people know the true and living God.

God is the God of truth, so we see all truth as being from him and should therefore be seen in light of his insights and revelations.
